On the same day, Asta and Yuno are discovered abandoned in a cathedral in a universe where magic is everything.

They get grimoires, magic books which increase their bearer’s magic when they turn fifteen. Asta possesses a unique Grimoire of Anti-Magic that counteracts and wards off the spells cast against him. As fierce but friendly competitors, Yuno and Asta are prepared to overcome any obstacle to realizing their shared goal of becoming the Wizard King. It is hardly the right thing to give up!
