On Wednesday, Tadaima, Okaeri’s official website revealed the 2024 premiere date and new visual of the series. Further, the boys-love anime also announced the main staff of the series.
Mangaka Ichikawa Ichi created the manga series named as Tadaima, Okaeri. Mangaka Ichikawa Ichi announced some exciting news on their Twitter handle.
The manga was initially published in Omegaverse Project as a serial in 2015. Since then four volumes plus a side story titled Tadaima, Okaeri dj – Oni Taiji! have been produced by the manga. The show later in September 2023 revealed that Studio DEEN would be producing an anime adaption.
Manga’s original author also published a celebratory illustration along with the latest announcement. The celebratory illustration featured the family of Fujiyoshi, i.e., the husbands Hiromu and Masaki, and their son Hikari. As they enjoy themselves in a children’s park, the three family members appear content.
Who is included in the main staff?
The anime will be directed by Shinji Ishihira at Studio DEEN. His previous works include Fairy Tail, Super Lovers, and Sasaki and Miyano.
Characters of anime will be designed by Osawa and Mina. Their previous projects include I-Chu: Halfway Through the Idol, Given, and School Babysitters.
The series screenplay will be overseen by Yoshiko Nakamura. He has previously worked in Sasaki and Miyano as well as Super Lovers.
Storyline of Tadaima, Okaeri
Tadaima, Okaeri is a story about the everyday lives of a family of Fujiyoshi. Hiromu is an alpha male married to a male Omega, Masaki. They have a two-year-old son Hikari.
Masaki is a father and spouse who stays at home. Masaki lacks confidence. He feels that he is a hardship to his earning spouse Hiromu because of his status. With each passing day, they grow closer as a “family” and conquer both happiness and sorrow in life.
