An anime series called Dragon Ball Super Films aired from 2018 to 2022. There were two Dragon Ball Super Films episodes broadcast in total.

Reportedly, the anime series Dragon Ball Super Films does not have any filler episodes.

The first movie in the Dragon Ball series to be made using the Super chronology was an animated picture called Dragon Ball Super: Broly.

The majority of the movie is set after the “Universe Survival” plot arc, and it debuted with a new visual aesthetic.

On June 4, 2019, Toei executive Akio Iyoku revealed that preproduction on a second Dragon Ball Super movie was underway.

The official title of the sequel, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, was revealed.
