Hard wood, soft wood, dry wood are all necessary materials to create furniture and fulfill quests on Disney Dreamlight Valley. They’re incredibly important, and early on, you might not realize their importance until you reach a point where you’ll need to collect over 200 pieces of wood. We’re not exaggerating when we say that wood in Disney Dreamlight Valley is one of the things you’re going to want to hoard. Want to add furniture to your valley? Stock on wood. Need to create something for your Disney friend for a quest? You’ll need wood. One of the hardest types of wood you’ll need is hardwood and we’re here to help you out. Here’s how to get hardwood in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Hardwood locations in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Cleaning up the valley you start to notice there’s a lot of soft wood all around the plaza and peaceful meadow. The respawn rate for the pieces of wood is insane and after you’ve cleaned everything up you’ll start to see more. We wish this was the same for hardwood because eventually you’ll be needing to finish quests that need lots, and lots, of hard wood. Here’s a little tip, the minute you start to see hard wood on the ground, grab it and never let it go. Just put it in your chest and keep hoarding. Trust us. Thankfully, to find hard wood you’ll need to go to multiple zones. Those zones are:

Hardwood Tips & Location in Disney Dreamlight Valley

If you’re looking to find hardwood in places that aren’t as expensive as Forgotten Lands, *cough* it costs 17,000 dreamlight shards to unlock *cough*, just focus on The Glade of Trust & Forest of Valor. The difference from soft wood to hardwood would have to be the color. Hardwood is reddish brown and can be hard to spot with all the softwood spawning around. We suggest turning your brightness up to help look around the darker zones. Once you find hardwood just grab it and keep it safe in your inventory until you move it to your chest.

That’s everything you need to know about hardwood! Just make sure you look for the reddish brown branches and hoard them like crazy. You’ll never know which character will ask for some crazy furniture piece.
