To go along with the first and third Sailor Moon anime theatrical movies, two brief episodes were produced.
“Make Up! Sailor Guardians” serves as a lighthearted introduction to the series’ characters for viewers who are unfamiliar with the brand.
On the other hand, “Ami’s First Love” is a retelling of an omake, or bonus story, from the Sailor Moon anime.
Sailor Moon SuperS Special
The final three specials were issued together and are referred to as the “SuperS Specials.”
The first special, “A Elegant Metamorphosis? Crybaby Usagi’s Growth Diary” provides a synopsis of the first three Sailor Moon seasons.
In “Haruka and Michiru, Again! The Ghostly Puppet Show,” the second special, Haruka and Michiru are shown at a posh hotel perched on a cliff.
The other Sailor Guardians join Chibiusa in fighting a monster that she discovers is one of her students in the third special, “Chibiusa’s Adventure! The Dreaded Vampire Castle“.
