After a long run, it appears like Cardcaptor Sakura’s main series is coming to an end. A few years ago, Cardcaptor Sakura made a comeback to the stage with its Clear Card sequel, which was first shown in the 1990s.

The second manga came to a close this week, but it appears Cardcaptor Sakura is already preparing for a return. The update originates from Nakayoshi, the magazine that published the follow-up to Cardcaptor Sakura.

On 30th November, CLAMP declared on their official X account (previously Twitter) that a “Special Arc” will appear in the April 2024 edition of Nakayoshi magazine.

Given the recent announcement of CLAMP’s exhibition, which is scheduled to take place in Tokyo from July 3 to September 23, 2024, this statement is made.

As of the time of writing, they have just announced the release date, which is set for 1st March next year.

The series’ fourteenth volume was published in English-speaking regions a few weeks prior, while its fifteenth book was issued in Japan.

When it comes to anime, you may watch the Cardcaptor Sakura episodes on Crunchyroll and Hulu.

If you haven’t been following Cardcaptor Sakura lately, Kodansha Comics is in charge of the English adaptation of the popular manga.
