Marvel Comics celebrates the sixtieth anniversary of Earth’s mightiest heroes in Avengers: War Across Time, a five-issue restricted sequence set within the legendary period created by Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, and Don Heck. “I realized a lot of my writing craft from The Avengers, and it has been a delight to pay homage to my outdated associates Stan, Jack and Don by attempting to do one thing which may have been an prolonged subject #11.1,” Levitz advised Marvel.com. “We’ve been cooking this up for a very long time, and I hope readers have as a lot enjoyable with it as I did.”

Set within the wake of 1964’s Avengers #11, which pit the Avengers towards a Spider-Man android created by the time-lord Kang the Conqueror, War Across Time takes place within the bygone period of the earliest days of Earth’s mightiest heroes. The restricted sequence journeys again in time to inform an untold story that begins with a battle towards their former teammate: the rampaging Hulk.
