The Sandman creator Neil Gaiman not-so-subtly implies that the third act of Audible’s audio drama adaptation of the comedian will arrive very quickly.

Neil Gaiman has all however confirmed that the third act of Audible’s audio drama adaptation of The Sandman can be obtainable within the very close to future.

“I’m not saying that the [Audible] third act of Sandman is dropping quickly. I’m simply innocently saying that if in case you have an Audible credit score, you may not wish to apply it to one thing else,” Gaiman wrote on Twitter. Created by author Gaiman alongside artists Sam Kieth and Mike Dringenberg, The Sandman initially ran for a complete of 75 points from December 1988 to February 1996. Adapted and directed by Maggs, Audible’s The Sandman launched in July 2020, adapting the unique comedian’s first three main story arcs — Preludes & Nocturnes, The Doll’s House and Dream Country. In September 2021, Audible launched The Sandman: Act II, which adapts Season of Mists, A Game of You and most of Fables & Reflections. In addition to the remainder of Fables & Reflections, the remaining arcs embody Brief Lives, Worlds’ End, The Kindly Ones and The Wake.

DC’s The Sandman Now Has Multiple Adaptations

Of course, Audible’s The Sandman shouldn’t be the one adaptation of Gaiman’s beloved DC comedian to be launched as of late. Earlier this month, Netflix debuted its live-action tv adaptation of The Sandman, which has develop into a serious hit for the streaming large. Netflix’s The Sandman Season 1 adapts Preludes & Nocturnes, The Doll’s House and the start of Dream Country. Fans (and Gaiman himself) are nonetheless awaiting phrase on a Season 2 renewal.
