Netflix has started streaming the first episode of Record of Ragnarok season 2, which is based on the same-named manga by Shinya Umemura, Takumi Fukui, and Ajichika.

The story revolves around the Gods’ choice to eradicate humanity, but only after giving them a chance to survive. This results in the Ragnarok tournament, wherein for humanity to survive, the gods must be defeated in seven out of thirteen games. The Gods had won two games whereas the mortals had only won one in the previous season, which was evident to the audience. 

The second season of Record of Ragnarok opens with the confrontation between Heracles and Jack the Ripper, which was hinted at in season one. Numerous intriguing characters from mythology, tales, and even actual individuals are included in the series.

In Record of Ragnarok season 2, Castor, a childhood buddy of Heracles, sits in the crowd with Thebans. He is seen to be wary of Heracles’ tactics, but he nevertheless stands for his friend wholeheartedly.

Jack Smith, the father of Jack the Ripper, is a fascinating new figure. Although he is initially depicted as a gifted British writer, it turns out that he was a liar who misled Mary, Jack the Ripper’s mother, about his intentions to wed her. Isami Kondo makes her debut in Record of Ragnarok season 2, which is based on a real-life late Edo-era swordsman. He is the head of the Shinsengumi, a specialized unit of the Japanese police. 

The tall, well-built man with dark hair is a skilled swordsman, and he thinks he can slay Gods. In the fifth round of Ragnarok in Season 2’s Record of Ragnarok, Raiden Tameemon represents humanity against Shiva.

The best Japanese sumo wrestler is recognized as Raiden Tameemon. In season two of Record of Ragnarok, Hlökk is the eleventh of the 13 Valkyrie sisters. She has a young girl’s appearance and is self-obsessed.

She is particularly intriguing since, while being harsh and haughty on the one hand, she nevertheless expresses sympathy for Jack the Ripper for being unable to express his pain and even gives him some advice on the other. Buddha is another anomaly among the Gods; in the sixth round of Ragnarok, he represents Humanity despite being a heavenly being.

One of the Seven Lucky Gods and the Shinto god of fishing and trading is Ebisu. He was made from Zerofuku’s soul. Season 2 of Record of Ragnarok features William Shakespeare, an English poet, and playwright. He is portrayed as a chubby man wearing classic Renaissance garb.
