Unfortunately, the film was conveniently forgotten by the producing firm for a full two years. There is now a fresh update following a protracted wait.
A new teaser video for “Overlord, the Movie Holy Kingdom Arc” was unveiled by Kadokawa. In 2024, the movie will premiere.
Originally, the news was revealed during a unique New Year’s event.

About Overlord: Holy Kingdom Arc
The Paladin of the Holy Kingdom, the twelfth volume of the Overlord light novel series, will be adapted for the movie. It describes how the Roble Holy Kingdom asks Sorcerer King Ainz Ooal Gown for assistance to fight the Demon Emperor Jaldabaoth’s allied army of demi-humans.
