Fans can now see the main character, Percival, in the first teaser trailer for The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse. The anime adaptation will debut at some time in 2023, according to the clip.

The television anime will be made by Telecom Animation Film, while UNLIMITED PRODUCE by TMS will be in charge of production and planning, according to the announcement. Shou Komura is currently confirmed by the anime to be the voice of Percival, the main character of the series. Komura had only ever voiced minor characters in two anime before.

In the eleventh episode of Tomodachi Game and the ninth episode of Yowamushi Pedal Limit Break, he played Student A. Percival will be Shou Komura’s first significant role as a result, as he was able to assume the part of the protagonist.

Years after the events of the Nanatsu no Taizai anime, The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse will take place. The famed Holy Knights will also not appear in the upcoming anime because they have disbanded. The series will instead centre on a young kid by the name of Percival who learns that he is destined to be a member of the Four Knights of the Apocalypse.

The troops of Camelot are aiming for him because it has been predicted that this organisation will obliterate the planet. This motivates Percival to set out on a quest to find the other three Four Knights alongside Lancelot, son of Ban. Tristan, the son of Meliodas and Elizabeth, will also appear in the anime. We anticipate hearing shortly about Lancelot and Tristan’s voice actors.

The synopsis for the first volume states, “Percival has always lived with his grandfather on God’s Finger, a remote haven that sits high above the clouds.” “And though he loves the simple life, he secretly longs for adventure. But Percival’s life is changed forever when an intruder — who shares a shocking connection with him — tears away everything he’s ever known.

In 2021, Weekly Shnen Magazine published the first issue of the manga titled The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse. The series is a continuation of Seven Deadly Sins, a well-received action manga that, when it debuted as an anime in 2014, gained enormous popularity.
