Since the conclusion of the series in 2018, fans have been eagerly awaiting the announcement of Dragon Ball Super season 2. The anime had a spectacular run of 131 episodes and received a tonne of anticipation from viewers all over the world.

The series was later followed by the Dragon Ball Super: Broly film, which maintained the franchise’s excitement. Another film, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, was released in June 2022, rekindling interest in season 2 of the anime. However, as of right now, no new release date or trailer has been revealed, officially confirming the series, leaving fans to make their conjectures.

This article will provide predictions about what viewers can anticipate from the series while taking into account previous trends in the franchise. Dragon Ball Super concluded in 2018 with the conclusion of the Universal Survival Saga and the return of all Z fighters to Earth following their participation in the Omni King Zeno-sponsored Tournament of Power.

So, it stands to reason that season 2 of the anime will likely follow the following chapter of the Galactic Patrol Prisoner Saga manga.

This storyline introduces Moro, a new antagonist to the series, and takes place a few years before the events of the Broly movie. After Grand Supreme Kai’s seal on his magic is shattered, the strong wizard Moro escapes from the Galactic Patrol’s prison.

Goku is charged with helping Jaco capture Moro, which forces him to engage the wizard head-on while using all of his Ultra Instinct. As was the case with the manga, Granolah the Survivor Arc should come after this one. Some of the strongest characters in Dragon Ball square off in this action-packed arc.

Vegeta revealing his Ultra Ego transformation, Gas going insane, and Black Frieza one-shotting both Ultra Instinct Goku and Ultra Ego Vegeta are just a few of the memorable scenes from this arc. Given how well-liked by the fans characters like Broly and Cell Max were, the showrunners may incorporate them into the anime.

Jiren, an older character, shouldn’t be completely written off because, with a little more practise, he might easily overtake Goku and become the most powerful warrior in the multiverse.

Although a release date for Dragon Ball Super has not yet been made official, there is widespread speculation that it will happen in the latter half of 2023. Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero was released by Toei Animation in 2022, although the company made no announcements regarding the release of fresh episodes after the film.

Many hints have pointed to the fact that Dragon Ball Super is currently in development, but until an official trailer or release date is revealed, fans may have to wait a while more.
